THE ARTIST
I’m a small-town photographer and educator fueled by one part glamour, two parts grit, and a whole lotta grace.
As a photographer, I’ve been awarded by Shoot & Share, published in both House of Flynn Magazine and Pretty Presets Magazine, and featured on Looks Like Film, as well as countless other instagram feeds and blogs. But truth is, as cool as those moments were, nothin' compares to seein' the look on your face when you view your images for the very first time.

My favorite part was the way that Jessica made us feel so comfortable. She found unique ways to position us without being posed. "I was considering a few other photographers before I booked with Jessica and was really worried I’d make the wrong choice, (turns out I didn’t.) The quote I received from Jess was double what I received from other photographers. But when I viewed all of the different galleries, I felt Jessica had more pictures that stood out to me. She definitely has a pure talent/gift rather than just dumb luck. That’s why I decided to book her, because she had a better portfolio and more experience. Her pictures on her website were amazing and I was really drawn to her style.
Our pictures turned out AMAZING, and I loved that she let us choose from a large selection, whereas our previous photographer just chose them for us. So that was really nice! My mom & Dad told me they’ve never seen so many amazing pictures taken in one session. They were both so impressed and commented on how they looked so natural and not posed. They even got featured on a major Instagram account!

WITH ME IS DIFFERENT
After photographing for more than 5 years, I've found I'm not the perfect fit for every couple.
That’s why this whole thing begins with an actual conversation - one about your story. I want to know everything — how you met each other, how he proposed, how you both got to where you are, interesting things about each other, how much you're addicted to tacos (oh, just me...?) and anything else, (that usually has nothing to do with photography.)
I want to know what fires you up - and the legacy you want to leave behind. Because that's the stuff that really matters, and that's what I want to be communicated through your photos. I guess you could say - that's just how I roll.
Why working
ISN'T IN THE PRICE.
If you're just looking for the cheapest photographer, it's definitely not gonna be me - and you know what? I'm proud of that. I'm not the photographer that shows up and snaps your photos, with no personality & no connection *awkward,* that sends your photos to you & peaces out - never to be heard from again. NOPE. 🙅🏻♀️
I'm not the photographer that you reach out to just to check that *get photographer booked* sentence off your to-do list.

The fact that you guys trust me to share this day with you, arguably the biggest day of your LIFE; yeeeah I don't take that lightly. I may start off as your photographer, but by the time your wedding is over and I'm delivering images, I promise you we'll be planning our next lunch date or get-together. It's a thing, I've factored it into my schedule already. 😉

Trying to plan your wedding and feeling pressured to do what your family wants you to do? Feeling like you wish you would've said from the get-go that you guys were eloping? I'm here to help.
It's common for couples to say, "oh I'd love to elope but so-and-so would kill me." But last time I checked, weddings are about you two getting married. That's it. This is the moment you're making a covenant to commit the rest of your lives to each-other, and fun fact: usually couples don't remember the moment they even exchange vows when there's a stressful wedding production involved, they say "it was all a blur..." 😳

Have a spot you're dying to shoot at, but it's not in the same state - or maybe even country? Not a problem! I'm an avid traveler, (and have actually spent the last three years living in a foreign country.)
If there's one thing I know how to make happen, it's travel. In fact, if your dream destination is in New Zealand, Thailand, Bali, Indonesia, or Japan - I already know the ropes around there!

After we party it up and your elopement/wedding is finished, you can expect your photos to be delivered via online gallery within about 28 days after your big day.
But, I hope the relationship doesn't end after I deliver your photographs. I'm totally down to meet up for coffee, start getting lunch together - and become real-life bff's. Really.

I'M PASSIONATE ABOUT
Being a wedding photographer, you probably thought I had an extravagant traditional wedding. Right? Wrong. It was a day I'll never forget, and truly the most beautiful experience I've ever had; but not for the reasons you're probably thinking...
My husband and I got married at my aunts kitchen table; with only us, my pastor, and my aunt's cat present. We dated 7 years before getting engaged, and we were engaged for a year before we got married - so it wasn't rushed. We wanted to remember every. single. moment.
So many couples get so caught up in all of the stress around planning a wedding that they forget about the beauty of it to begin with. They forget that they're about to embark on a crazy beautiful journey, one that is full of mountains and valleys.
And what's more beautiful than having someone who truly shows UP for you on your wedding day. Someone who's down to adventure in any way you guys want, and someone will actually stand in the inner courts with you - and pray for your marriage. I don't just care about taking bomb photos of you, (though I'm fully prepared to.) I care about the health of your actual marriage, that it blooms and thrives; and that you guys will beat 50 percent. That's what it's really about, that's the way God made it - and if there's one thing I stand for, it's that.

Heck yes! All you need to do is respond to the email that contained this link, stating which of the three collections above you'd love to book, and I'll shoot you a proposal right over! (A proposal is the payment plan and the contract all in one!)
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Of course! Your payments can be split up, no problem! I typically require a 30% retainer upon time of booking, and we can space the rest of the payments out according to what works best for you. I have a few payment plans that I typically use, and I'd love to share them with you!
How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?
Your wedding gallery typically includes 600 images minimum. The amount varies depending on which collection you choose, (the longer the session, the more image options!) This gallery is how you'll receive your images, which you can then print wherever, and whenever ya want!
When do you charge travel fees?
I add travel fees on to any session outside of a 60 mile radius from my home in Texarkana, Arkansas. Fees vary depending on location, so just ask me for more details!
The next step is to just respond back to the email that contained this link, stating that you'd like to book. Easy peasy! Then, we'll chat more details and after we nail it all down, I'll send you a proposal, (which is the contract and the payment plan all in one,) and we'll be well on our way to getting this party started!
